ABOUT US

Ontech has been in business for 25 years and originally started in 1996 as an IT Support company, progressing into software applications and forming Ontech Solutions as it is today in 2007.

We pride ourselves in having a full understanding of the varied aspects of the Drinks Industry and this experience exists at both a senior management level through to valued staff members (a number of whom have been with us for many years).

There are now essentially 2 divisions within the company, Software Applications/Development and Specialist IT/Network Supply and Support. Jointly we employ over 30 staff located in various offices in the UK, Europe and India, supporting customers in the UK, Europe and the Far East/Australasia.

Ontech continue to develop their range of products under the Vision Software umbrella and this encompasses the following areas:

  • Vision Commerce | Stock and Order Management system (which is detailed on this site)
  • Vision Warehousing | Advanced Warehouse Management Software for all types of warehouse including Excise/Bond and Third Party, more . . .
  • Vision Bond | Excise/Customs specific extensions to Warehouse Management, more . . .
  • Vision Distribution | Logistics and Distribution Management software, more . . .
  • Vision Mobile | Application extensions for Scanning/Data Capture in the warehouse and EPoDs for deliveries

 

The Technical division supports all the remotely hosted servers for our Vision customers at our DataCentre but in addition, as a Managed IT Solutions provider, the following additional services are available to both Vision and other third party customers:

  • CCTV | Advice on siting of cameras, supply/installation, security backups, ongoing support
  • Wireless Infrastructure | Advice on siting of equipment for coverage, sourcing/supply/installation, ongoing support
  • Servers, PCs/laptops, tablets/mobile devices | Sourcing/supply, set up and software installs, installation, backups/resilience,  ongoing support
  • Software | Windows Server, SQLServer, Windows, full Office 365 options – set up and ongoing support on all of these aspects
